Min K. Kang
Overseeing our new Southern California office in Los Angeles, Min's practice encompasses a wide spectrum of business litigation, insurance and aviation matters. She specializes in insurance coverage and related litigation. Min also represents insurance carriers in the defense of bad faith and contractual disputes, often arising out of motor vehicle, homeowner and construction defect claims. Through her representation of manufacturers, contractors, premises owners, retailers, distributors and airlines, Min routinely handles personal injury, product liability and aviation matters. She also has particular expertise in the management and litigation of complex toxic tort lawsuits.
Min represents a broad range of clients from large-scale national corporations, to small local businesses, to private individuals. Min is well versed in all phases of litigation in both state and federal courts, and has been successful in obtaining early dismissals, winning procedural and dispositive motions, and negotiating favorable settlements for her clients.
With her considerable experience in torts and insurance law, Min has developed a unique ability to obtain positive results for her clients through early, sophisticated evaluation of complex legal issues, detailed fact investigation, aggressive motion practice. She has a proven record of securing early dismissals or favorable dispositive rulings for her clients. Min works closely with her clients to develop cost-effective and innovative strategies to best serve the client's goals and interests. Min is admitted to practice law before the Ninth Circuit, the United States District Court for the Central and Southern Districts of California, and all courts in the states of California and Washington.
