Matt's practice is focused on insurance-related and tort matters. He has experience in many aspects of pre-trial litigation, including discovery, dispositive motions and trial preparation.
While attending law school, Matt participated in the Katherine and George Alexander Community Law Center, and represented several litigants before the Labor Commission in San Jose. He also represented a client before the California Unemployment Appeals Board and received a favorable decision.
Matt served as Ethics Editor of the Santa Clara Law Review, and he wrote and published an article entitled "Ethical Screens in the Modern Age" that appeared in that publication. Matt also received the Emery Merit Scholarship and served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Jeremy Fogel of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
