Carrie M. Dupic Associate Carrie M. Dupic is an associate attorney whose practice is concentrated in the areas of complex insurance coverage and insurance bad faith disputes. She also has experience in products liability, personal injury, premises liability, and business litigation. Ms. Dupic has experience in all aspects of pre-trial litigation. Ms. Dupic received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, summa cum laude, from Washington University in St. Louis in 2002. She received her Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2005. While in law school, Ms. Dupic was honored with the school’s “Outstanding Client Advocacy Award” for her excellence in counseling and representing indigent clients as a court-certified legal intern with the school’s legal clinic. She has excelled in legal writing as well, earning Honors recognition for her first-year appellate brief, and achieving publication credits after law school during her practice of law. More recently, her article, “The ‘Sophisticated User’ Doctrine: A New Affirmative Defense for Products Liability Defendants in California,” was published in the Summer 2008 issue of Defense Comment, an ADC-NCN publication. Previously, her tax policy article, “The SUV Tax Loophole: Today’s Quintessential Passenger Vehicle Becomes Small Businesses’ Quintessential Tax Break,” was published in the Fall 2005 issue of the Lewis & Clark Law Review. Ms. Dupic was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2005. She is also admitted to practice law before the federal district courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Central Districts of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
