David C. Weaver

David C. Weaver is an associate attorney who practices extensively in the areas of casualty defense and insurance law, including insurance coverage matters and bad faith litigation.

Mr. Weaver received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University in 1998 where he earned his varsity letter in basketball. He earned his Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2005.

While at Santa Clara University, Mr. Weaver focused on the field of Administrative Law, worked two years as a research assistant for Professor Kenneth Manaster and was credited in the publication of two administrative/environmental law review articles: “Fairness in the Air: California’s Air Pollution Hearing Boards,” 24 UCLA J. Envtl. L. & Pol’y 1 (2006) and
“Symposium: The jurisprudence of Justice Stevens: Panel III: Administrative/Statutory Interpretations: Justice Stevens, Judicial Power, and the Varieties of Environmental Litigation,” 74 Fordham L. Rev. 1963 (Mar. 2006).

Mr. Weaver was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2006. Before coming to the firm, Mr. Weaver played professional basketball in Europe.
