Throughout its history, the firm has defended a
broad range of product manufacturers, designers and distributors in connection
with claims that the products they manufactured, designed and distributed
were defective. It has also represented victims injured by defective products
in claims against the products manufacturers or distributors.

Products at issue in litigation the firm has handled include, among others,
aircraft component parts, automobiles, bicycles, civilian airplanes, commercial
and consumer refrigeration equipment, construction equipment, consumer
products, including space heaters, stoves and paints, detention security
devices, fire suppressant systems and products, heavy industrial equipment,
helicopters, hot air balloons, jet engines, military aircraft, powerchairs,
pressurized gas cylinders, and propellers.

The firms lawyers have tried many products liability cases to successful
verdict. These cases, including many alleging significant injuries or
death, have been tried throughout California and in other states.

Among the high profile products liability cases handled by the firm were
lawsuits arising from the fatal helicopter accident that killed Frank
Wells, then-president of the Walt Disney Company and the fatal accident
involving the aircraft used by Clayton W. William, Jr., in his Texas gubernatorial
campaign.

In addition to being its clients advocates in court, the firm also
works closely with its clients to help them identify potential areas of
future technical and legal concern. The goal is always to increase product
safety and integrity, to enhance the clients reputation, and to
decrease the possibility of litigation.
