Douglas Johns is an associate at Coddington, Hicks & Danforth where his practice focuses on insurance bad faith, insurance coverage, and personal injury litigation.
Doug has extensive experience in matters related to the insurance industry. After earning his undergraduate degree, Doug worked for one of the largest insurance companies in the country for several years. During that time, Doug developed expertise in fair claims handling practices. Now, pairing the skills and education he gained while working in the industry, with those he obtained through his legal education, Doug ably represents insurance company clients in a broad spectrum of litigation.
In addition to working for an insurance company during law school, Doug served as a law clerk for the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California. He also worked for a prominent law firm specializing in catastrophic personal injury litigation.
When he is not representing or counseling his clients, Doug enjoys coaching a mock trial team for a local high school. Doug also enjoys traveling.
