Janessa is an associate attorney at Coddington, Hicks & Danforth who works on matters across the firm’s practice areas. Her focuses include insurance bad faith, litigation, and landlord-tenant law.
Prior to joining Coddington, Hicks & Danforth, Janessa worked as a litigation attorney at a boutique law firm specializing in complex litigation, employment law, and landlord-tenant law.
While earning her Juris Doctor at Santa Clara University School of Law, Janessa participated in Honors Moot Court Internal, both as a competitor and as a member of the student board. Additionally, Ms. Chun served as the Associate Managing Technical Editor of the Journal of International Law and earned her International Law Certificate with Honors.
While in law school, Ms. Chun spent the summer after her first year of law school as a Summer Associate at a corporate litigation law firm in Seoul, Korea. Later, she worked at Samsung Research America, Inc., where she facilitated all aspects of regulatory compliance and contract negotiation.
